Mikaela Gia Quinta is a Melbourne-based artist whose work is deeply focused on capturing the soul in portraiture. With a passion for creating original subjects, her art is a way to express faith, tell stories, and connect on a personal level with her audience. Her recent works blend modern minimalism with the intricate presence of human portraiture, creating a unique fusion of simplicity and depth.

Mikaela's artistic journey began in childhood and has since evolved through formal education. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Art from Deakin University, where she honed her technique under the guidance of industry leaders. Alongside her formal studies, Mikaela continues to learn and grow through the support of emerging artists in her community.

In addition to her artistic endeavours, Mikaela is a Dermal Clinician with a Bachelor of Dermal Sciences from Victoria University. She is the co-founder and owner of La Pelle Skin and Health, a company she has dedicated the past five years to building. Through her clinic and skincare range, Mikaela supports women’s skin health, focusing on their unique needs and empowering them to feel confident in their skin.

Currently, Mikaela takes on limited commissions to serve and create unique high quality work for her clients. For Mikaela, art serves as a personal therapy and an escape from the chaos of daily life, providing her with a much-needed outlet for creativity and reflection.
